The Situation 

As they waited to transition into their permanent home at Metropolitan State University, the headquarters of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities was temporarily located at the Wells Fargo Place and the United Bank of Scotland (UBS) buildings in St. Paul.  Minnesota State Colleges and Universities had an immediate business need for virtual communication that incorporated the capabilities of videoconferencing so that faculty and board members at various sites throughout Minnesota could collaborate and interact.  Knowing that they were planning to move, MSpace had to create a solution that was portable, yet seamless, and offered interactive presentation capabilities.

The Solution 

This design solution was a unique, clean installation using existing spaces and technologies that provided the mobility that Minnesota State Colleges and Universities needed as they planned to move to their new location.

The Technology 

Five rooms were integrated for Minnesota State Colleges and Universities at their temporary location in the Wells Fargo Building and UBS Building.  One common conferencing element among the five rooms was that they were each equipped with a TANDBERG 3000 MXP and Sony EVID1 100 Pan-tilt zoom mounted camera creating an exceptional videoconferencing environment.
