President & CEO of MSpace, Ryan Heining was selected for the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal 2012 Diversity in Business award.

The award recognizes 20 local business owners and executives who represent the ethnic minority, GLBT, disabled and veteran communities. The honorees were selected through a highly competitive nomination process based on the contributions they’ve made to their companies, industries and communities.

The award recipients will be recognized in the July 13 edition of the Business Journal, and at a July 12 event at the Westin Edina Galleria.

MSpace Co-Founder and CEO, Ryan Heining, was featured in an interview with CorporateTechDecisions, where he spoke to Lighting Control in the Boardroom and Beyond.  CorporateTechDecisions is a nationally known website dedicated to address the business needs of professional end-users and facility managers in Corporate, Healthcare, Eduation, Hospitality and Worship markets.  In the article, Ryan spoke of the importance of lighting in the work environment, as well as the environmenal impact, such as energy consumption, that these decisions can have.

MSpace recently launched their newest M Series Convertible Conference Space, the M3 system. The M3 system is designed for Immersive Telepresence video conferencing and can convert in an instant to traditional board room configurations thanks to the technology ribbon built into the center of each table. System controls and jacks for connecting additional devices at the table are built into the technology ribbon and pop up or down with the touch of a finger – hidden and unobtrusive when not needed.

Each M Series space is powered by the MSpace Room Control App that ties all room technologies together. It can control the lights and automated window treatments with the preset and manual settings. For the second consecutive year, MSpace joins the list of other prosperous companies in the nation as they were named to the Inc. 5,000 fastest growing privately owned companies in the United States. This honor recognizes MSpace for its unprecedented growth achievements and invited MSpace to the Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony, held on Sept. 24th at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Maryland.

Since 2007, MSpace has seen a 178% growth with total revenue in 2010 of $16.3 million. This growth has allowed the company to soar past its 2010 ranking of 2025, with a 2011 ranking of 1552.

MSpace earned the eighth place ranking in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Top 25 Largest A/V system integrators/dealers, released Sept. 30th.  The 25 integrators/dealers featured in the list were ranked on their overall revenue based on their most recently completed fiscal year. MSpace finished their year with an overall revenue of $16,337,603, pushing them into the top ten A/V system integrators/dealers in the Twin Cities.

On Oct. 6th, MSpace was honored the #8 position at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Fast 50 Awards Reception, held at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley.  The Fast 50 List features the fastest growing companies in the Twin Cities, based on percentage revenue growth over the last three years.  This year’s list included an wide range of companies, including IT firms, business consultants, staffing firms, office-furniture dealers, home health care companies and many others, all with a single commonality of rapid revenue growth from 2008-2010.

This year,  MSpace had a three-year growth rate of 139.06% and a 2010 revenue of $16,305,197. Attributing its growth to great people, focused mission and execution of business plan, diversification, customer support and new partnerships, MSpace earned its way into the top 10 fastest growing companies.
