E2T2: Enhancing Education through Technology
This program is focused on three primary objectives: improving student achievement through the use of technology in the classroom, creating digitally literate students by the end of 8th grade, and facilitating high quality, research based professional development.
RUS: Distance Learning and Telemedicine
The purpose of this program is to meet the educational needs of rural America through the use of advanced telecommunications technologies. There are DLT grants, loans, and loan-grant combinations that help rural communities enjoy enhanced educational opportunities and greater economic development.
DOL: Department of Labor
The primary purpose of this grant is to provide education and training to the untapped and displaced workforce, allowing them to develop the skills required to obtain affordable wage jobs.
E-Rate:
E-Rate is the common name for the Schools and Libraries Universal Service Support Mechanism. E-Rate provides discounts to assist schools and libraries to obtain affordable internal connections, telecommunication services and Internet access.
